Hello and thank you for visiting! It is our goal as your full service real estate company specializing in the Brunswick County area, to provide you with superior service at all times. About Joe and Kathy
Joe and Kathy, originally from New York, fell in love with North Carolina when they vacationed here to play golf years ago. They decided that they would relocate “some day”. After traveling throughout the state, from the mountains to the coast, from the Blue Ridge Parkway to the Outer Banks, they discovered the southeast coast and made their decision. The purchase of a condo at St. James Plantation in which they could vacation for long weekends and spend a week or two throughout the year, led to the big move in 2000 when Joe got his Real Estate Sales license and relocated in January. Kathy followed in September of 2000 after selling their homes in New York. They built their home and settled in Southport.
Both Joe and Kathy transferred their skills from previous careers in healthcare, management consulting, education and training, and psychology to Real Estate and began The Agovino Team at Cape Fear Realty in 2004. They are both Real Estate Brokers. They have utilized their skills and become specialists in Real Estate in the Southport/Oak Island area and spread out to all of Brunswick County with primary, secondary and investment homes and properties. In 2005, Joe and Kathy both became certified as Accredited Buyer’s Representatives (ABR) which places them among the top realtors in the country to be credentialed to specialize in representing buyers in Real Estate transactions.
Joe and Kathy say that they have most fun selling “the beach, the history of Southport, the great golf and most of all the lifestyle of Coastal Carolina. Just helping people make their dreams come true!”
